United Way, Legal Aid Society of Orange County and the Community Action Partnership of Orange County (CAPOC) are working together to provide FREE tax preparation assistance at our Community Tax Days at the CAPOC Main Office, Anaheim Independencia Family Resource Center, and El Modena Family Resource Center.

What should I bring to prepare my taxes?

1. Social Security Card or ITIN
   (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number)
   for each family member.
2. Birth dates for you, your spouse and dependents
3. W-2 Forms for all jobs worked in 2011
4. All 1099 Forms for other income
5. All 1098 Forms for educational expenses
6. Childcare provider information: Name, Address, and Tax ID number (if available)
7. Picture ID (e.g. Drivers License, Matricula Consular)
8. Bank Routing Numbers and Account Numbers for Direct Deposit
9. To file taxes electronically on a married filing joint tax return, both spouses must be present to sign required forms.
10. A copy of last year’s Federal and State returns (if available)
