Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention (NEOP) – Peer Educators Program

The NEOP Peer Educators program helps low-income families eat healthy and be active. The peer-to-peer model is used to train community leaders to easily teach low-income adults about:

  • Building a healthy plate
  • Planning healthy meals
  • Shopping on a budget
  • What’s on a label
  • Rethink Your Drink
  • Being more physically active
  • Speaking up for healthy changes
