Earned Income Tax Credit

Community Action Partnership in collaboration with the city of Santa Ana are working to increase awareness of the Earned Income Tax Credit. The EITC is an opportunity for low income individuals to get more money back each year.

Renter's Credit

You may qualify for a Renter's Credit of up to $60.00 if you paid rent during the previous year and are over 62 or disabled at any age. We will assist you at no charge to file the requested forms. 

You will need to bring the following information:
-
Date of Birth
  - Proof of age or disability
  - Name and address of your landlord
  - Total annual household income from
    Social Security and/or Railroad Retirement
    Interest, dividends, and/or gains or lossess
    Pensions and/or annuities
    SSI/SSP/AB and ATD
    Rental and business income or loss

Utilities Assistance

Provides qualified low-income homes with a home energy assistance credit to be applied toward a gas or electrical bill to pay for the current bill or to prevent a pending loss of utility. Households can only receive assistance once per year.
