Internship

Community Action Partnership of Orange County offers internships.  The internship program is designed to provide college students and graduate students with an opportunity to learn about community building, public policy, organizing and collaborating with other agencies and corporations to fight against poverty.  We are looking for individuals who would like to research community needs and develop new approaches in fighting poverty in the Orange County. We also need individuals with marketing, fundraising, photography, and web design skills. Community Action Partnership is flexible and is always willing to place your internship to a good cause.

General Information:  Interns are expected to work between 20-40 hours a week during an 8-10 week internship period.  Internships are offered during the Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring semesters or quarters. Interns may receive academic credit if an agreement is made between the Planning and Program Development Department and the intern's college or university.  All interns are subject to the applicable Community Action Partnership of Orange County's employee rules, including its Employment Dispute Resolution Policy.

Application Procedures:  Candidates have a choice of completing an Online Application or printing out an Application. All print out applications must submitted with a cover letter and resume as a complete package.  Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
